When you first come to Dubrovnik first thing u notice is how everything around u is old. Old town, old buildings, old streets makes you wonder how that place made mostly of stone managed to survive the fight with modern architecture of glass and steel. Just looking at the Dubrovnik ancient fortress walls makes u feel small and insignificant and as u walk around Stradun u begin to notice how modern aspects of life have managed to penetrate old stone walls and create a strange symbiosis of old and new.

And then when u walk towards the sea and notice all the big cruisers anchored around Dubrovnik you begin to wonder how will this old city manage to provide food, drink, accommodation and entertainment for all the people coming from around the world to relax and enjoy themselves in this beautiful city. Somehow those old buildings and their tenants do it. I suppose where there is a will there is a way. Many hotels are hidden between those stone buildings. Some big, some small but they are present.
